Fast-growing healthcare software company extends local service to East Coast Medical Community

IRVINE, Calif. (September 20, 2006) - AcerMed, Inc., a leading electronic medical records (EMR) software provider, inaugurates its East Coast office in Voorhees, New Jersey, on October 1, 2006. AcerMed’s East Coast office is strategically located approx 30 minutes from the Philadelphia International Airport which will allow for easy access to all Mid-West and East Coast clients. AcerMed’s regional office will be staffed with professional EMR and Practice Management trainers along with sales and support personnel.

The company, currently headquartered in Irvine, California has covered sales and service to medical practices nationwide from its California headquarters. As AcerMed’s volume of business on the East Coast has steadily grown, it was important to service these accounts with local staff and local support. This is a significant move for AcerMed which will result in a more effective level of service to its existing East Coast clients.

AcerMed provides medical practices with Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management software to create a virtually paperless office that streamlines the workflow for the entire staff (clinical and administrative) as well as increasing the quality of care and patient satisfaction. The pressure from the government as well as the incentives from the insurance payors for practitioners to adopt an EMR system has created the ideal market for AcerMed.
